Ruby was in shock when she read her name on the list of people who failed the exam. She had dedicated her time to studying over the past few months, even turning down several offers to hold concerts.
Ruby’s younger sister, Kooky, said that her sister was so sure would pass the exam this year that she had made arrangements with a major law firm in Egypt to begin as an associate.
Initially, Ruby said she would not make a fourth attempt, but her mother and sister convinced her otherwise.
On a different note, the long awaited album by Ruby, previously scheduled for release during the summer season, will be released during the Muslim holiday Eid Al Fitr.
The album “Misheet Wara Ihsasi” (I Followed my Feelings) is in its final stages and the singer has filmed the main song “Misheet Wara Ihsasi” in the form of a music video to be released with the album.
The clip was directed by Ruby’s business manager Sharif Sabri in Sharm El Sheikh, Egypt. Ruby will present a new style of dancing in the clip, featuring new steps she created herself.
The album will mark Ruby’s return to the spotlight after a year long absence. It features eight songs, varying in style from oriental and western.
